Anyone Any Good With Wiring? (light)

Hi Guys

Well the IS200 I bought has a 10" drop down lcd where the courtsey light was.

The tv has 2 lights in it that need connecting.

Now I have found what I presume is the light plug and it has 5 wires, from left to right.

Red/White line

White/Black stripe

Green

Blue/Yellow stripe

Green/Orange Stripe.

The TV has 3 wires

Red

Blue

Yellow.

So before I cut the plug can anyone give me some help please?

I suggest you take a few piccys and post them up.... wouldn't hazzard a guess without seeing what you mean first...

Also what instructions came with the "tV"????

Ok will do. Didn't get any instructions with tv, as it was already in the car.

If thats the case you will need an invertor so it will work from car D/C

No I ment standard plug on the interior light. Standard as in they are all the same in the Lexus IS 200.

Lexus gave me the info I needed for free :)

Sure sorry.

The Blue/Yellow stripe wire is the power wire

the Red/White linewire is the ground wire.

the other 3 are to do with th alarm, but I didnt ask about them.

I connect my tv yellow wire to the power wire

the blue the ground wire

and the red was screwed to the car body.
