Radio Illumination

Hi all my radio works fine, but none of the controls or the display light up.

Is there a separate feed to the radio and is it fuse, if so where.

Had the radio out, could not find any fuse insid the unit.

i had the same problem with mine,i soldered on a new capacitor in the instrument cluster and it was sorted,canna mind which one but i'll look it up again n get bak to u.....

the orinal fault i had was a blinky dash n sorced out a diy fix for the dash and it sorted out my lights on the centre console as well

It's a 1996: I have tested the lamps/LED's, they work fine, because i have no circuit information i cannot track down the regulator circuit

Sorry I can't find much on that year but if it's the same wiring as mine there is a white/green wire feeding to the radio this is the illumination feed and goes back to J/B #3 pin A13 I would assume this is the 12v feed to the illumination bulbs if you can locate this wire check to see if 12v is present.
