Wanted!

hi all, just wondering if anyone has a sat nav screen housing unit they no longer need. not really bothered if the screen is working or not, just as long as the opening n closing mechanism works.

thinking of puttin a mac mini in me car, and that would look better than having on display all time. also, if anyone has done this before, any tips?

These are rarely just sitting around as they are most sought after........ ;)

That being said, every now and again one pops up for sale......... :) ..... paid abit under £200 ( inc. postage ) for mine....thats without the screen as well.

I bought one not so long ago, I keep meaning to fix something like a TV or my portably satnav. I padi just under £200 aswell.

Good choice though, the Mac Minis are great little computers!You have given me a good idea mind :P

cheers ppl, wondering if i shud just put the screen in place of the stereo now. :duh:

was 1 on eBay bout 2 weeks back but got outbid in the last 5 mins while i was working :tsktsk:

mac minis are a lot better now as they come with software called front row and a remote to scroll through music, films, photos etc.

got a few guides and a bit of info on how to open them up and some other useful info if u thinkin the same kazi. be handy to know some1 else doin the same.
