Hi folks,

I now have 18" rims fitted (prev fitted to a soarer) to my 1992 S1 with what seems to be the right offset.

the tyres are 235/40/18 which overall is only 50mm dia bigger than the 205/65/15 originals.

The ride is a little harsher but the steering is so much better... other than a little tram lining.

Has anyone else got 18's or larger?

What camber angles and figures for the tracking did you use?

Is the offset the same? it does matter before we talk Geometry.
