Is220d Engine Rattle

I had my IS220d new 3 weeks ago, it was late on delivery so I was given a demonstrator for a couple of weeks until it arrived and very nice it was too. As soon as I drove my new one I noticed a pretty severe 'rattle' noise from the engine when accelerating under load particularly in 2nd gear. It went back and the dealer said they could find nothing wrong with it and that it would probably get better after doing more miles. I've now done 1000 miles and it is no different. The dealer says this is normal. Surely not ! the demonstrator was fine but to be fair it had done 7000 miles.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I just had my engine rebuilt due to the carbon build up and it is now doing exactly this. It has been back to dealer several times, and they've just replaced the flywheel after blaming it, but the rattle is still present!!!! Aaaaaaaaaaarggggggggggggh!

Has anyone else experienced this or got it solved? I've done several thousand miles now but it wont go away.

It's 'engine' rattle in (particularly) 2nd when accelerating ~1700rpm.

I'm at my wits end.
