Seeing as my free(which is actually going to cost a few hundred pounds) safety check at Lexus told me i need new discs and pads i was just wondering what people could recommend me to buy? Is it worth coughing up for an expensive set of drilled disks or just stick to your standard Kwik Fit ones?

Thanks......Stu.

ive always said the oem discs are very good, as they should be considering there also used on the much heavier GS430

regards pads there are a few options available prolex sells them as do some motor factors

infact i think i may even have a few sets lying around that are no longer needed, still boxed

drilled discs will give no performance improvement, infact most, aftermarket "performance" drilled discs crack

all the drillings will do is increase pad wear....oh, and look nice

however ive heard nothing but good reports regarding the dba discs

They do look good tho! :D

Any idea how long you could expect them to last before cracking?

Whats a dba disc?

Thanks.....
