What is it with O2??!, their network is great but their customer service is awful!.

I take my mobile phone into the O2 shop because it keeps telling me "Insert SIM" and it's only 6 Months old. Only for them to tell me they can't replace the phone and they have to get it repaired which will take 2 weeks!!.

I ask the guy for a replacement phone whilst I wait for my mobile to come back "sorry we haven't got any left" WHAT?!! a huge company like O2 in the middle of a Queensgate shopping centre don't have any spare phones????.

I then start looking around to buy a better model of phone as they can't supply a temporary one.

I see a Sony Ericsson W810i "Can I have that one?" "Sorry it's only on contract" , so I buy the K750i as it's £100 cheaper. I also ask for some discount as it's their fault they don't have a temporary phone for me to use "Can't do that sorry". :tsktsk:

I ask the guy if he can check my contacts are on the SIM Card and not saved to the phone that's broken, "yes they are on the SIM".

I get home and charge up the new phone, insert the SIM Card only to find that all my contacts are on the other BLOODY PHONE THERY ARE SENDING BACK! :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk: @ O2

The problem is I have a friend I haven't seen for over 8 years coming round with his fiancee this weekend and now I don't have his mobile number let alone anyone else's!.
