Hi,

I have done 20k so far and at around 60-80mph, it now has a judder all around the car. If I do 80+ mph or less that 50mph, it is not noticeable, if I take traction control off, it is less noticeable. I have checked the tyre pressures and they are ok. I put it in neutral on the motorway and the judder was not noticeable even when free revving to 6000rpm. I stamped on the brakes to check they were not stuck and there was no difference. Whats going on and why does it only happen in gear at around 60-80mph?

Does the shudder increase when you take your foot off the accelerator whilst driving? If so, it sounds like the universal joints in the tail shaft are on the way out. I had this happen in another rear wheel drive car. You will probably notice a clunk/thud when you put the car in D or pump the accelerator.

Hope this helps.

Sax.
