Rx 350 Economy / First Impressions

Picked up an RX 350 from Bracknell in November and having done 3000 miles since then it feels nice and loose and run in. Was wondering what kind of mpg other owners are getting? I get about 18-20 on short runs (worst was about 13 on a short dash after a fillup) with 23-25 on the motorway at outside lane speeds. Anyone better this??

Absolutely love the car so far - the only problem being a creak/rattle from dash when very cold. Turns out this is from the glovebox (air filter in there??) and can be solved by leaving glovebox open for a few minutes until the heaters warm up the car.

Had the car a while now and tried that VPOWER from Shell - got an extra 2 mpg on a cruise (26) and throttle response was way better.

Interesting that the fuel economy is supposed to be better than the RX300 & it looks exactly the same to me. By outside lane speeds are we talking 70 or 90 (obviously driving on an autobahn) as my RX300 dips to around 21 for the latter albeit on regular unleaded rather than the expensive stuff.

I average about 17 mpg according to the trip computer in town, 24 + on the motorway.

On a recent trip to the North East and back I actually got it to 31 mpg !! :D
