Is200 Reading Light

Does anyone know what type of bulb is fitted in the IS200 reading light. the one near the sunroof?? I want to change that to a white light instead of the standard.

Nope...afraid not, you'll need to get one from Lexus parts...Halfords don't sell the one your after either!

I believe its a 12V 10W and it will be about £2 from Lexus! :)

Got my map light from Mike. LED of course and is much brighter than the candles you get from Lexus. :D

is it just a straight forward bulb change or is there anything else involved? mike said all he had was a blue one. wanted a white one, but dont know what the exact bulb i need is??

BA9 12V 10W straight pin version. I think this is what you are looking for. I tried the 6 LED version once, nice color, but they are not has as bright as the original bulb. Maybe its got to do with the way they fit, they project the light accross rather than downwards. You do get a nice colour. Wide angle ones might be a bit better.

stupid question, but does anyone know how to remove the plastic "case" to change the map/reading interior light by the sunroof?
