New Is200 Sport

Hi all,

Am new to LOC. Ive just bought the IS200 Sport Y plate with 50k miles on it. Metallic Green. It is one of the best cars ive driven. (better than my old mk2 golf and my mates Beemer 318)

All in all it is a fantastic car.

Not too sure what to start doing to the car. Thoughts are to try and get my ipod to talk to the car. (at the moment its via the now legal iTrip or if my wife is using this then a cassette adaptor)

Oh, and another thing. Is the "clunk" sound when shifting between 1st and 2nd (and sometimes between 2nd and 3rd) quite normal (I read somewhere on this forum that it is, just wanted to make sure)

Welcome to LOC, glad your happy with your purchase.

The cluck is a recognised 'feature' of the car. Some people have it some don't nobody knows what causes it. Some have found upgrading to a short shift has helped reduce it.
