well i dont know about the GS, but on my old car when the starter used to stick, i used to give the solenoid a little tap with a piece of wood and a hammer, used to work fine then, but the solenoid was on top of the starter, i changed it in the end, find out who makes the starter lucas etc and see how much one is that way and compare to the dealer. ( i am assuming this is what you mean by the relay??)

yes ffluf

that's exactly what it's all about. I know about the tapping but I prefer to change the startermotor or at least the relay who's on it.

I might take it to a bosch dealer, and get it repaired. Could be the cheapest way. I thought that lexus might have standard exchange, I will find that out then. Just wanted to know if anyone chenged his and the cost it was?.

that's all

thx anyway man

cheers jacko
