Im due to collect my new IS200 Sport in less than 2 weeks time. I want to know if anyone has taken out the Guaranteed Asset Protection cover or Service options when they bought their cars. I was not informed by the dealer of any of these options and only by lookin thru their site did I find out about them. I would like to know is it worthwhile including any of these options in the deal and if so what are the latest costs?

Cheers.

Yes, GAP insurance is absolutely worth it (just ask Javaboss!) - If your car is written off or stolen you will get back the full amount to settle any outstanding finance. I don't have it on my IS, but when we got our CR-V recently we took it. For the Honda it cost only 250.00 and was paid with the first payment - which made the first payment scary as there is also the "document" fee too
