Minor Dent Repair, East London/west Essex

Recommended Posts

In searching this forum for information I saw this:

Take it to Lexus Woodford if not too far, cheaper and much better bodyshop :winky:
I live 3/4 mile from them. I have a dink where someone obviously dropped something on the bonnet. About the length of 1/2 a matchstick, same width, very very shallow - I can't see it at all when the car's dirty. BUT the damn thing's right in the middle of the line of sight so ANNOYING. I went to to them and they offered a £486 quote. Plus VAT.

I'm going to try 'Dent Wizard' or 'Chips away'. Anyone around Buckhurst Hill, Essex with a recommendation?

As I made that original quote, thought I should make a further response :)

While Lexus Woodford has a great bodyshop, if you've got a small dent, using a proper bodyshop is not going to be the best option cost wise........

I'd recommend dentwizard, I've used them before and planning to use them again soon as some muppet has left a whopper of a dent in one of my doors (obviously someone overweight person in a 4x4 :tsktsk: ).

I think their standard price is somewhere around £85, but if it's minor and easily accessible, they'll drop this price quite considerably (I think the dent I had removed cost less than £50 at the time).
