It was an old MOD (DERA) track near Cobham in Surrey. Nasty surfaces and dodgy cambers, V V V scary in a Porsche Boxster being driven V Fast.

It was the lexus one. Just as well too as there was a smell of burning rubber from the tyres afterwards. :o

Shame you missed it. I had Ben with me coaching me on taking the right line through corners etc. I kept getting the S bend wrong but was getting closer to hitting the apex right on the third lap but then it was all over. At least I mastered the the long sweeping bend before the straight. It was so much fun. I didn't have time to think about the lack of run off, trees etc, nor pay much attention to the speedo but I think it managed 70 through the S, 90 through the next bend and about 100 round the sweeping one, then 115 on the straight. I do wonder if I could have got it to 120 - 125 if I'd changed up to 6th. Perhaps Russell tried 6th....
