im useing a 1jz because i heard the 2nd turbo on the 2jz is very hard to mount.firstd things first the engine mounts will i just modify the standard 3sge mounts?can i use the 3sge rad?

1. 1JZ-GTE also has 2 turbines. Or you meant you were swapping late 1JZ with VVTi & single-turbo? Actually, it's ok to fit twin-turbo in altezza. You just need to custom modify your exhaust according to altezza's remaining parts on the right - you'll discover it during the process.

2. The engine mounts: it was a wonderful surprise for me that JZ perfectly sits on stock 3S-GE's engine mounts. You don't need to modify them at all! My friends who recently swapped JZ in their altezzas used JZ's engine mounts and had to modify 'em. But I've tried to put it on stock 3S-GE's mounts - and it was ok. My 2JZ-GTE sits perfectly on 'em.

3. Radiator: stock 3S-GE rad is possible to use but with thinner fans. But to cool the new engine you better should choose a thicker copper rad. Even a stock radiator from good old diesel corolla will suffit (3S-GE's stock rad is too thin for JZ).
