Hi everyone,

I know i haven't posted much/at all on here so please dont ignore me because of this. lol.

i joined to help my brother in law. Just needed to ask some advise.

He has a V plate Is200 and it seems to have dropped 2 coilpacks.

Just wondered if you knew where was best to get hold of them? second hand or from a company, jusst thinking going to be very pricey from Lexus.

If anybody has any for sale would a real life saver.

mine dropped 1 pack (**** mint sounded like a scooby lol)

i dint no wot was wrong so took it to lexus (ouch) cost me £150 in the end for a coil pack + fitting + finding out what was wrong

not sure how much the part was think it was over £50 tho from lexus

i have a set drop me a pm

i think there £99 each from lexus, i have had 3 go all differrnt times dose sound good but drives rubbish tho

soz for sounding stupid how would you know/tell that a coil pack has gone?

Your Eng/man/light and TRC light will be on, and the car will not be wunning right, sort of missing :duh:

cheers for that gord...just wasnt sure.. the other cars ive owned in the past have had HT leads...and with those it was always fairly easy to tell when they where shot to bits...

cheers for that gord...just wasnt sure.. the other cars ive owned in the past have had HT leads...and with those it was always fairly easy to tell when they where shot to bits...

you will defo be able to tell when the coils goes car wont accelerate right, drive completely rubbish and your dash will be lit up like a xmas tree lol
