Hi

I have recently bought a 2005 LS430 with 18k miles from Germany and noticed when I apply the brakes there is a slight vibrating sounds. This seems to dissappear if I apply more pressure to the pedal. Was just wondering if anyone has any thoughts / experience. Initially I am thinking of a sticking brake caliper. Also I read somewhere on here alot of discussion relating to tyres. I think the tyres on the car are still the originals as the spare is brand new and the same make.

Any thoughts / ideas / suggestions are welcome.

Glenn

The LS is a big heavy car and with an auto box it doesn't encourage engine braking which means the brake discs and pads really do have their work cut out.

It's quite easy to get the brakes glowing red if you're driving with vigour between roundabouts (eg Milton Keynes where there is one ever 200 yards!) and they can warp quite easily - especially if u sit in traffic afterwards with your foot on the brake.

Being brakes, it's worth getting them checked but suspect it's going to be something you'll have to live with until the next disc / pad change.
