Ls430 Mpg.

hello all.

well, filled up the lex yesterday, drove from Liverpool to London and back. 400miles motorway and 41 miles starting and stopping so overall of 441 miles and we hit standstill traffic for 5miles and the red light has not yet appeared. on the way there the speed was kept generally below 85mph and on the way back we had a few outbursts to 100mph for a few seconds. i am very pleased with this as the trip comp still notifies me that the tank is still good for another 61 miles. meaning thats just over 500 miles to a full tank. what is everybody else getting out there.

I feel like writing to the Newspapers when I get close to 500 miles out of a tank. It does happen on longer trips, crusing around 80mph. Most I've gotten is 515 miles out of a tank. A gentle foot, cruise control, PWR ETC on and on longer trips I get in and around that regularly.

As far as fuel economy goes, I am certain that there is no other car out there that offers the same comfort, acceleration and fuel efficiency. Well done Lexus!

I have an LS430 aswell. Only have it 3 months so havent done an mpg check on a long drive. What is 500 miles out of a full tank working out in mpg terms?

i am very pleased with mine to i do alot of motorway driving in the week i live near london and work in reading i do 460miles per week worked it out to 65L not in cluding the reserve and averaged 34.8!

I get around 23 around town and around 34 on the motorway if I take it reasonably steady. Aboviously this drops off dramatically if I'm cruising at 100-130 mph but that's to be expected.

I don't have an LS430 BTW, just an LS400.
