Wheel Question?

Hi guys,

I really want to buy white rs5's for my altezza. The problem is I've heard that the altezza has a slightly different offset to the IS. Is this true?

All I need to know is if I get them from HERE- http://www.alloywheels.com/product.asp?P_I...earchSize=18%22

what offset should I buy with 225/40/18 Tyres?

Sorry to be a pain but I really want to order some new wheels :) but have seen conflicting offset guides.

Cheers all.

RJ

I believe a 40-45 offset would do you fine mate IMO with an 8" rim.

Ask dazz32 as he has 18's with those tyres on his IS200 or ask Gord as he would know for certain mate.

You can also see the offset your current wheels are (on the inside spokes).

I am currently running this combination

Front: 18" x 8" 45mm offset 225/40R18 Tyres

Rear: 18" x 8.5" 50mm offset 255/40R18 Tyres

The fronts fit fine with no rubbing or catching whatsoever.

My rear arches needed a small roll or cut, but that is with wider rims and much wider tyres on the back.
