Hi,

can anybody tell me, what kind of speakers are original in a 1998 GS 300. I'd like to replace them, because I think, the sound could be much better. I still have two sets of round infinity kappa in 6,5 inches at home (165mm), would they fit?

Is it a Mark 2??

I can confirm that 6.5inch speakers will fit - no problem

Stock speakers are 4 inch Panasonic - 2 ohms.

You may lose some volume if you're replacing them with 4 ohm speakers, but the better sound quality more than makes up for the loss.
