Knowing My Ls430 Is Secure

Hi all!

Just a quick (and I hope not too much of a dumb) question!!

On my LS430, is there anything that tells me that Ive locked it (ie any constant flashing LEDs etc). I know there is a flashing red LED light inside near the steering wheel, but that is quite discretely position. Basically, I want to look out of my bedroom window and see something flashing, telling me the car is locked. i dont want to sound paranoid but its good to quickly glance at the car and see that its locked!! For example, on Audi's on the driver and passenger doors, there are flashing lights that tell you its locked. Am I not looking at the right places on my LS430 for something similar??

I know what you mean, when I check at night I just hit the lock button twice on the fob and it flashes the lights and I know its locked mine does it from a heck of a distance so even if I've left it out on the road I can see the flash through the trees.... nothing visable on mine. I was thinking of putting in some LED's to show when locked but its not high on my list of "Must do"

A couple of times now I have had to go back to my car and unlock it, then press the button on the door handle twice to make sure it is locked. I can assure you though, when the alarm goes off, it's damn loud. The horn sounds and there is also a siren with flashing lights. I set it off at JAE by accident. I don't think my hearing has come back in my right ear yet.
