Strange New Noise Developed

Hey guys, i've just noticed a strange noise or rattle whatever they call it. It seems to be coming from somewhere near the pedal area and happens when i'm driving over uneven surface (which is 90% of the time) the only time it doesnt happen is if the surface is like really new. It sounds like plastic shrinking or expanding (whatever it does) or plastic touching plastic. It definately sounds like plastic is involved but I am finding it really difficult to locate the noise as it only happens when I am driving and it is in the area where my feet are so hence I cannot ask a passenger to try and locate it.

has anyone experienced such a noise?

would appreciate any input on this.

Hi, Not heard of any such noise being common or reported. Is it loud enough for a Lexus techy to hear if sat in the passenger seat? If so, go visit the dealer and get them to check it out.
