Any Way To Upload Camera Data To Satnav?

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm a new 450h owner and I'm absolutely stunned by the car, however, does anyone know if it's possible to upload "safety" camera data to the SatNav please?

Secondly, does anyone have experience they could share regarding the Hybrid Power mode and it's effect on fuel consumption?

I've had this beast for three weeks and still grin when I drive it.

AFAIK adding camera info to the satnav is not possible as it reads all the data from a DVD, not RAM.

Re consumption I have a 450h SE-L and average about 32. Shorter or heavy right foot trips are less, but cruising using the ACC I get a lot more, so overall I reckon I get about 32.

And I know what you mean about grinning when you drive - it's a stunning car !!

I don't think the Hybrid Power button makes the car any more powerful. I believe it just makes it more responsive. In other words, you don't need to press the accelerator so far in order to get a response. I'm not sure I could drive with Hybrid Power on for very long. It would drive me crazy. Every slight movement of my right foot causes an almost instant change in car speed. It can be useful for those times when some spotty oik in a souped-up Astra with a noisy exhaust decides to try to take you on. It's quite satisfying to silently leave him standing, while hearing his roaring engine trying to keep up. Other than that, I leave it in normal mode.
