Things are looking up folks :), just visited the scene where my car was parked when it got hit and there is some plastic parts which had "Ford" written on it, this looks like the centre cap for a van or flatbed truck and there also some plastic bolt covers which could be used to cover the bolts for the wheel.

Van or truck does sound likely, since as others have said the damage looks fairly high up, too high for a regular car at least.

im wondering if the police would have some CCTV footage. We do live in country with the most CCTV cameras right?

I had a look for CCTV today and couldn't see a thing i'm afraid :(

i guess its keep an eye out for vans in that area as im sure they will use the same route for work
