Updating The Sat-nav

Recent new owner of a 2004 Lexus SC430 needs some help with their sat-nav...

Simple question:

Is it worth the risk of buying a DVD for my sat-nav from e-bay or should I buy one Lexus? There seem to be many compatibility issues across the Lexus range, reading comments on e-bay, which puzzles me somewhat...

Any information anyone has would be much appreciated.

Cheers!

Hi!

Yes, I did that, but it just gives a part number, which doesn't match up with the numbers on the CDs. In other words, there is no way to link what part that site says I need to order from Lexus with what anyone might be selling on ebay. Oh well... Looks lie i will have to pay the 144 pounds to Lexus and get me an "original part!"

A.

Go to this site http://www.lexus-mapupdates.eu/

Your need to put in your current model which can be ejected from the boot.

This disc has the codes than your need to add to the web site above.

If you type in the number on your disc, it will give you the most recent version that you need - and you can order straight from that site.

Sorry if I've misunderstood, but I'm not sure what you're asking?
