Amp Bypass Lead Info

Recommended Posts

hi guys

just after some info before i install my new HU, got the amp bypass lead here, it has iso blocks one end, and the block to byass the amp on the other end, however in the middle there is a loose red wire with a clamp down crimp block with no mention of this in the help sheet, i'm assuming this is the 12v ignition or 12v permanent wire yeah?

thanks for your help :)

I've just finished installing my new HU with the bypass lead, my lead had 2 yellow memory (permanent feed) wires which both went into the same pin at the iso block end for the HU, my lead had NO red wire for ignition feed on it at all !!!!

I had to then run my own ignition feed wire to the block for the amp and use a clamp down crimp block to get my unit to work with the ignition,

Found that to be the grey wire top right corner of the amp block.

yeah, mine went in fine, no troubles, seems i didn't need that red wire i guess, just used the iso blocks and it functions fine, memory holds, works when ign is on, shuts off when key is removed, all the bells 'n' whistles

:hehe:
