How To Access Sat-nav Diagnostic Menu On Is?

Recommended Posts

Hiya,

I'm interested in accessing the diagnostic menu on my sat-nav to see if ther's a reset function, becuase the sat-nav has become a bit erratic (seems to pick some illogical - and much longer routes, even on routes that it's been fine on before). I'm also nosey and would like to see what's in there, but my main hope is that I can finda system reset.

I've checked out these links which I got form this forum: http://www.is300.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t...0660&highlight= and http://www.is300.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t...0660&highlight=

However, whilst they claim to show how to access it, I don't have a map button, I don't have a language selection screen, nor an Info button! I've tried to guess what is the equiivalent on mine, but to no avail. I assume the instructions were for a US system?

Does anyone know how to actually do this on a UK spec CD-based system?

Thanks guys..

Paul

It involves buttons on the hi-fi - can't remember which though ...

There's nothing very exciting there anyway.

As for going adrift / resetting ...

Have you gone though the 'tyre change' procedure ?

How to do it is in the instruction guide ...

This put mine back on track !
