Wedge Bulbs

Recommended Posts

I am replacing one of the rear stop/tail bulbs which are of the wedge type. My problem is that the old bulb sits further into the bulb holder and aeems to have a definate click when pushed home. The new bulb does not sit as well into the holder and seems to me that a couple of potholes could dislodge it. Anyone any ideas why this should be. I've tried 2 different manufacture of bulb.

Sorted now. Seems it has to go in at an angle to push what looks like a spring loaded catch to one side. Also needs quite a strong push. Problem is being not sure how strong the bulb is. Anyway as stated problem solved.
