Fuel Cap Release

Hi

Had my 04 rx300 mkii for about 2 years now and its been brilliant.

Just a quick question - I was looking at the spec sheet and it says electronic boot and fuel cap release.

Obviously I know I can raise and drop the boot door with the key - is there a way of opening the fuel cap electronically with the key instead of the button on the dash?

No that is not possible. The button on the dash is 'electronic' rather than a mechanical level you pull. The only other way to open the fuel filler flap is to pull the 'emergency cord' hidden in the left-hand storage compartment under the boot floor. That is there in case the Battery is flat.
