Insurance For Young Drivers

hi everybody, i am 17 and currently drive an 03 2.0 accord, however, i also purchased a 95 ls400 and after driving it a couple of times i love it, and am considering keeping it myself.

i was wondering whether i have any chance in getting insurance on this beast? i will be named driver on my dads policy he has 40 years experience and 40 years no claims, if thats any help. thanks

I don't think it's out of the question, depending on the insurance group it's in - I can't remember what it is but there is a certain insurance group above which they will not insure people under a certain age.

Why not just try putting it into a few comparison websites and see what happens?

tried a few a few months back.

its a grp 19 haha. but at the same time its worthless. i have just put mark1 sport rims on it and absolutely love it now
