Hi there i have just got my new lexus is200 se and to be honest im very very happy about it i think its an amazing car!

i managed to get the car for a decent price as it is due a service soon

now im hearing a sort of scraping noise every now and then coming from the front wheels... the pads are quite low is this a noise to expect for me to change them?

Hi ya, ive just got a IS200 as well, welcome to the forum.

The scraping noise sounds like the brakes, could be the pads are down and scraping on the disc or the disc could be slightly warped and just occasionally catching the pads when you are going along. But im sure one of the others will have more knowledge than me on the subject.

Anyway hope you enjoy your car as i am mine?
