Lexus Gs300 2005 Dvd Sat Nav

hey all, hope every1 is ok..

new to this forum and was wondering if can help me..

i have a lexus gs300.. 2005 model...

how do i remove the sat nav dvd and install a new version of it...

does anyone have the name of the dvd for the 2008-09 or 09-10 edition .. i will look around ...

how do i go about removing this..

in 2005 onwards, eject the DVD through the menu instructions - do a search on here for detailed info. I think you navigate to the information screen and hit the top left of the screen.

To get the upto date dvds go to lexus-mapupdate.eu (cheaper)or your lexus dealer.

thanks for that mate.. yes i saw 2 ways of ejecting the dvd.. dont know which 1 is correct..

cannot seem to find the other topic.. but will this work in my 2005 model?

... where is the compartment for the dvd removal?

what is the LATEST part number for the GS300? i think it is version 2...

the disc is in the top right of the glove box, above the manual holder. It works on my 07 450h, so I don't see it why it wouldn't work - by 2005 do you mean mk3?

lexus-mapupdates.eu will tell you what the latest available is - it is a lexus website. You input the part number from the existing dvd and it tells you what the upto date version is.
