How easy is it to remove the cd unit ,can a another lexus unit slot back in ?

no they are not you need to ensure your replacement unit has the same code as the one fitted, the correct code can be found on the unit face

it says the same ive been told ,just not sure if to gamble its from a 2000 year model ,and wont accept returns
