Protective Plastisc Strip

Recommended Posts

Just purchased my first Lexus an (IS250) On picking the 3 year old car up I noticed that the protective clear patch in front of the rear wheel arch just behind the rear door had some moisture underneath it causing the adhesive to turn black. Lexus dealerhip where I purchased the car are sending me a replacement patch and say the old one can be removed with the aid of a hair dryer. Is this easy to do or should I get a local friendly body shop to fit it?

(D :question::question::question: ealership is 100 miles away)

have you got a hairdryer ?

do you know how to use it ?

if the answer is yes to both, then do it yourself

if the answer is no then use a local bodyshop or hairdressers :D

shouldnt be too hard, just heat it up and peel it off, clean and stick new one on
