P0443 Error Code

hi guys,

I had the engine managment light came on this morning with no lost of power. I got to work and used OBD-II code reader, it says:

P0443 - Evaporative Emission Control System Purge Control Valve Circuit Malfunction.

what does that mean and where is the problem??

update:

got the RAC guy had a look, he cleared the code, said nothing to worry about...... most likly the AMS (air mass sensor). After done 20 miles, the light came back on again.......

what can I do now? Need help guys....

I'd take it to your new mate at Lexus Poole, he seems to be good ;)

It's pretty obvious the AA guy hasn't a clue.

update:

Did speak to Andy at poole this morning. Again, he went out of his way to help. (don't want to get him into trouble, so no details here).

it's all sorted now.

save myself at least 105+VAT and half day off work to pay B'ham Lex the visit.
