Hi all. I am a new member and intend to buy a 3 year old GS 450h by the end of the month. Could anyone give me his/her experiences and feelings on the car in terms of good and bad points to look out for!!! What is the life expetency of the batteries? etc... Really what I am trying to ask is that if the GS450h is a car worth owning for many years to come?

Hi there, I have proudly owned a GS450h since July 2006, it is a fantastic car, had only two problems, one with the wheels all were replaced under warranty due to poor chrome finish and the other is/was noisy on restart if only run for under a minute from cold in the morning, various attempts by Lexus to cure problem but still not 100%. I use either straight from garage or leave running for approx 2-3 mins, this seems to resolve the problem.

Hi, thanks for your prompt reply which I do find encouraging and sorry for the delay in replying (on travel). The good news is that I have now bought it and should expect to collect it this weekend... I am sure that I will like it very much.
