Help With My 2000model Is200

recently on applying my handbrake the light on the dash displays (!) when handbrake is off the light goes off on the dash but wen i drive the light appears again :crying: and also if i drive for an hour or so when parking the car switch off enging get out close all doors press the lock button on key the car wont lock but i can hear a clicking noise but it wont lock i have to get back in lock all doors from inside then shut the drivers door lock it by inserting the key then if i press the lock buttong on the key the alarm arms itself all the indicators flsh all is good, it unlocks ok but still doesnt lock or arm itself i have to keep getting bk in and locking from inside !

one of your brake bulbs needs replacing, or may be just loose, check them, that should solve the handbrake light, as for the locking, just check all doors boot bonnet are closed properly, the car tries to lock and unlocks if something isn't closed properly
