Not too sure why you wouldnt want to get HIDs, probably cheaper than decent normal bulbs......however if your not wanting HID, PIAA bulbs are really good :)

I thought that HID bulbs were v. expensive. I was quoted 190 quid from Lexus! Searching the t'internet the cheapest (philips which I believe Lexus use) were about 50 quid from Germany. Read that the cheap china ones were useless.

HID bulbs to fit in to the OEM lights of the Sport and SE-L models are expensive, but retro fit HID kits to convert normal halogen headlights found in the S and SE models are quite cheap nowadays.

Thanks guys, I dont really want the HID kit, not only due to expense but i dont really want to be adding after market stuff if possible.

Brighter bulbs will do me, not after the "Blue" effect ones, not to my personal taste.

I guess at £23 for a set of super brights i cant go far wrong, and if i dont like them its not an expensive change

If you can get them in the size for your headlight then i would highly recommend the Philips X-Treme Power bulbs. They have won the best buy in Auto Express for a couple of years now.
