Audio Options On 2007 Gs

Hi,

I've just bought a 2007 GS450h which I'm picking up this week. It has the Mark Levinson system installed. However I have some questions about playing digital audio:

1. Will the system play MP3 CD's?

2. Will the system play MP3 DVD's?

3. Has anyone installed an iPod kit? I know of the VIASTECH uniys from the States and I'm tempted by a VML unit.

I think the ML has better sound quality and 14 speakers but don't think it will play MP3 and DVD's.

HI, my 450h SE L will play DVDs but only when parked with the parking brake applied.

I tried a VAISTECH unit from USA but it would not work in my car, when connected I lost all audio output and is is not possible to connect it wrongly. I even employed a specialist to install it with the same result. I then had Lexus MK fit a i pod adapter into the centre box which works really well except you must create only 6 playlists and you can not view the titles when moving, and no shuffle mode.

Vaistech could not explain the problem but it seemed strange 1 model fits all given the M. Levison system has a seperate amp in the boot
