Is300 Hid Xenon Bulbs Upgrade

Hi,

How many K and what color is the stock HID Xenon lights? If I want to upgrade the bulb to a higher K one do I need to change/upgrade something else too? What type of bulbs do I need to look for? What K would you recommend?

the OEM lamps are optimum for light levels, any change in colour would be detrimental to that

be careful changing lamps to cheap eBay ones, they could destroy the ballast units and that will cost a lot to replace

The standard fit will be 4300K and as Bazza has said these are the optimum in terms of light output. If you're looking for replacements, they are D2R bulbs.

I wouldn`t buy cheap bulbs but I will forget this upgrade than to save me a lot of hassel

It's up to you really, all depends on what you mean by "upgrade". If you mean brighter light, then you won't get brighter than the stock bulbs. If you want a different colour though, then go for it, but bear in mind that the higher the colour temperature (K) the lower the light output.

I only wanted brighter lights with the same color as I have now wich is impossible after you helped me out on this one
