Anyone Replaced One Of The Headlight Washer Covers?

Recommended Posts

I've just received a new one in the post as the paint is flaking off my passenger side one. Does anyone have any experience in replacing them?

It looks like its held in place with two screws, but how to get at the screws on the existing one to remove it..i have no idea.

To get at the screws, you might need to take the bumper off, or at the very least jack up the car, remove the underbody covering to gain access to where the washers are. The washers are screwed into the covers with (as above) 2 self tapping screws.

On a similar note. Does anyone know where I can buy a washer assembly? I've just bought an Is200 '02' plate and it only has one washer. The other was stuck on with glue and the washer unit taken out....grrr.

Any advice on where I can get a new one cheers D
