How Do I Fit This? Pictures Inside.....

hi basically i have inflicted a fair bit of damage on my is200.... and have the replacement parts on order and should be picking them up soon but i noticed when i was taking this part off it was just spinning in what i would call the 'cup'???

just wondered when fitting the new one how to i stop this happening?? surely i shouldnt be gripping on the threadded bit??

where the nut that holds it to your ARB, goes through the suspension component, the end should have an Allen socket (female) you need to use the Allen bit to hold the threaded part to undo the nut

you can see the Allen recess on your picture, at the end of the threaded part

yeah i used the allen key to get it off but i ment for the other side?? it has a recess but no allen key... surely that would had been tonnes easier??
