Hi,

I want to lower the Lex but have a couple of questions.

I was looking at the Apex or Spax lowering springs, does anyone have any experience in these springs on a Lex.

Also my Lex is a 2001 Se, will a set of lowering springs be ok on the existing shocks as my budget dont stretch to coilovers and there aint a kit around the £250/£300 mark that I can find.

Any help appreciated guys

it depends on how long you want to go, i think most reliable springs you can get lower by 30-35mm. any lower and the factory shocks will have alot to cope wit

yea you wont find coilovers for around £300, and my god if you do dont buy them, because with coilovers you basically get what you pay for.

i got a set of tein super street on mine, lowered 60mm and i paid £700 for them as a general guide.

i beleive most people on here who have lowered on springs have gone for the TTE springs which lower by 30mm i believe.
