If i was to buy one would i need to adapt my current loom or is ther an acesorie wire that comes standard across the range? also how hard is that actual dash facia to fit?

Cheers

It's quite complicated in that you need to swap the loom to one from a car with nav - probably easier to just get the motorised housing and then put an aftermarket nav in there as many have done :)

ohhh :( no way the loom is able to be modified then? :( so all looms dont have some kind of 'accesorie plug' was hoping it was a plug and play job :/

I think the loom is completely different. I bought one on eBay (they come up every now and again), and am just waiting for the missing components to come up at the right price. All I need now is a remote (plus holder), and the all important display. Then the fun REALLY begins...!

Yep as above it isn't just a plug in bit, the nav cars have a completely different loom. It's a big job but not impossible though if you really wanted it desperately - probably isn't worth the effort though given how old it is, a modern satnav would be better, just stick it in the factory housing to make it look OEM :)
