Hi, New, Keen Rx300 Owner (Some Issues)

Recommended Posts

Well I've taken the plunge and part chopped the old faithful BMW for my very first Lexus, a 2001 RX300, what a beautiful car. However it does have some 'issues', but I'm always keen to get my hands dirty, and so far have removed and welded the rear exhaust box pipe back to the flange (should last, plenty of metal left, fracture crack at original weld) I've also had the VRC and engine lights come on, but have not got a code reader yet, but suspect as there is a leak at the flange by the cat, this is upsetting it, its next on the list! I do realise that some things will require specialist equipment and knowlage beyond me, so my question is can anybody recommend a good Lexus specialist garage in the Birmingham/Walsall area? I know there are good reports from some of the main dealers, but as usual money is also an 'issue'. Anyway, any suggestions appreciated, looking forward to reducing 'the list' of jobs, and many happy miles, thanks, Ian
