1Jz-Gte Swap On My Is200 Sport

Hi guys, i'm Jonnzy and i'm from Iceland.

I own a '00 IS200 sport - manual

black on black 18" with (5%)Black tinted windows,

anyways... i am being offered a 1jz-gTe motor + R154 manual gearbox

I'm thinking whether there are gonna be a lot of problems fitting it in to my IS

alright, i'm mostly thinking about how the 1JZ engine will fit in the IS engine bay, what needs to be modified so it will fit

I was also thinking if i needed that gearbox with the motor,

doesn't my is200 6speed gearbox fit the 1jz gte ?

The engine will fit without modding the chassis or anything, just need the right sump IIRC

Dont think the 6 speed straight fits no, best going for the r154 IMHO, good box and very sought after
