who has noticed that the actually radio in mk2 gs300 is pretty lame.

cd sound is fine but the actual radio is almost quieter than the cd. i.e tone changed etc. are the radios designed like this.

also have u ever noticed that 'asl' working. it apparantly is meant to adjust the bass trevle etc accoding to road noise. quite frankly i dont think it works

I agree mate.

It's deliberate apparently - there's a mod about to fix it but it involves removing surface-mount capacitors from the preamp.

My ASL doesn't do much either - prolly cos the car is so flipping quiet in the first place
