hi a have a is 200 auto starts and drives fine only problem is when temp reaches about half way if you stop the car and restart it it will not reverse any ideas other than replace the gear box

Have you checked transmision fluid ?

hi when was the last time you changed the gearbox oil and filter

i assume you checked the gearbox oil is to the correct level & its not burnt.

it seems the torque converter is playing up.
