Pairing A Blackberry On A Gs300

Recommended Posts

How do you do this? One of the guys in the company I work for has got a GS300, apparently a few years old. Well for work we get blackberry's given to us depending upon our position within the company. I've not tried out the Bluetooth on my blackberry that I got from work but on his he cant seem to pair it with his car. Anyone got any advice?

From memory - just enabled Bluetooth on the phone, set it to always on. Followed the car instructions to scan for the phone, and set that to always, or whatever it's called. Whenever the phone is in the car now it pairs automatically.

You could probably do it without instructions by trial & error, it's not hard. My Blackberry didn't need any special treatment.

I have also paired a BB Curve to my GS without issue.

I must be fairly straight forward as i didn't read any manuals.

Just made the phone visable, told car to search for phone and paired then transfered contacts. All contacts now come upon the screen.

Sounds like a dodgy phone to me.

Only issue I have is that when calling someone, the radio/cd doesn't cut out until the other person has answered. (unless dialling from one touch on the screen, then I hear the ringing). This can be a bit off putting as you don't hear the other person say "hello".

Still if that the only complaint it can't be bad.
